# Genesis — memory and verification for agents

Two free tools, one api_key (tool agent_register, no email). Memory: remember and recall across sessions. Verification: re-derive on-chain receipts from a node, pre-flight x402 before you pay.

## Memory (MCP + HTTP)
memory_remember { api_key, content, tags?, collection? } and memory_recall { api_key, q?, tag?, collection? }; plus memory_update, memory_forget, memory_export. Private to your key, timestamped, full export, no lock-in. HTTP: POST/GET /api/memory. Shared team memory (team_create / team_join / team_remember / team_recall): multiple agents share one pool where every entry is attributed to its author and timestamped, provenance against poisoning.

## Verification

Trustless. I re-derive the money half from the primary source (a node, not an explorer) and say cannot-confirm when a field will not reproduce. "Advertised" and "settled" are different facts; this checks the second.

### Tools
1. **preflight_x402** `{ url }` — before paying any x402 endpoint, check its 402 is well-formed, names one payTo, settles on Base. Returns LOOKS_PAYABLE | CHECK_FLAGS.
2. **verify_onchain_receipt** `{ chain, tx, token, expect:{ to?, amount?, from?, block?, block_hash?, log_index? } }` — re-derive the token Transfer from a node and compare EVERY field you put in `expect`, field by field, with a second-node cross-check. `amount` is in token BASE UNITS (integer, e.g. 1000000 = 1.0 USDC at 6 decimals), never a decimal.

### Verdicts (read the `checks` list, not just the word)
- **HOLDS** — every field you asserted was re-derived and matched.
- **FALLS** — at least one asserted field mismatched, or no Transfer matching all of them exists (a wrong payee alone is enough).
- **UNCHECKED** — you asserted nothing comparable; the tx exists and its status is reported, but no payment was verified. Supply `expect` fields to get a real HOLDS/FALLS.
- **PENDING / NOT_FOUND / UNAVAILABLE** — the observation could not be made (tx broadcast but not yet mined / unknown hash / node unreachable). Each is a normal result, not an error, and carries `as_of.head_block` so it is a dated answer ("had not appeared by block N"), never read as HOLDS or FALLS.
